Traditional Hybrid Lawn Program

This is our basic lawn & turf program. Options like fungicide and pest control can be added on as necessary for your budget and your lawn situation.

Most soils in our areas are very clay base soils and very nutrient deficient. In most cases, these lawns and soils will be more challenging to achieve premium results. In instances such as this, we will need to add more Organic matter into the soil, aerate, or top dress with compost material.

• Application 1: Pre and Post-Emergent Application:
  
  • This application controls existing broadleaf weeds with a post-emergent herbicide as well as a crabgrass treatment designed to target crabgrass and other warm season weeds during the germination process.
• Application 2: Early Spring Treatment + Humate, Bi-,Carbon Soil Amendment
  
  • This application controls any broadleaf weeds which may have sprouted after application 1 as well as a pre-emergent targeting early summer weeds which have yet to germinate like Crabgrass, Goosegrass, Spurge. This extends the life of the pre-emergent into later in the summer.
• Application 3: Spring Starter Fertilization and Spot Treatment for Weeds
  
  • This application uses a Liquid Organic / bio-char fertilizer with phosphorus and potassium to help with the early greening of your lawn. This application is for all lawn types. We will spot treat your lawn for any existing weeds.
• Application 4: Early Summer Premerge + Fertilization and Spot Treatment for Weeds
  
  • This application uses a premium quality, slow-release organic fertilizer with carbon plus/ bio-char to feed your lawn. By utilizing slow-release fertilizer, nutrients will continue to feed the lawn for up to 8 weeks, providing good color and growth when properly watered. We will spot treat your lawn for any existing weeds.
• Application 5: Summer Fertilizer + Humate and Weed Treatment
  
  • This liquid Organic fertilizer is fused with high Iron, Seakelp percentage. This will help keep the color of the lawn during the heat of the summer, plus humate. Weed treatment application targets warm season weeds which grow throughout the warm weather months. These weeds include spurge, nutsedge, kyllinga, virginia buttonweed, etc.
• Application 6: Late Summer Fertilizing, Spot treament.
  
  • This application uses an Organic base/ bio-char fertilizer plus a high percentage of potassium to help lawns before it goes into fall/winter. This application is for all lawn types. We will spot treat your lawn for any existing weeds.
• Application 7: Fall preemergent + Postemerge treatment
  
  • This application is a liquid treatment designed to control cool season weeds that would appear in the lawn during the winter and spring months, plus control any weeds before winter.
• (Optional) Application 8: Lime or Gypsum
  • Highly recommended if the soil test pH is acidic or the soil is very clay base, which is normally high in magnesium - this is where Gypsum needs to be applied.
